Fort George Brewery

Sweet Virginia Series Packaging

The Sweet Virginia Series bottling project is a mobile bottling line that allows the Fort George brewers to do small batch runs of barrel aged and rare beers on a regular basis. The bottlings range from 10 cases to 2000 cases and the price point is on the higher end.

The design objective was to create a bottle label system that conveys handcrafted and high quality while staying within the tight budget of producing small batch packaging runs. The end result was a wax-dipped bottle using a die-cut label with foil and thermography. Each release features a custom illustration by various artists, includes the Sweet Virginia Series branding and the specific beer name and info in a typographic lockup system.

Designed in collaboration with Plazm & Fort George Brewery.
